Hong Kong, written down and kept beautifully by the people who know it best.
香港 means fragrant harbour, a name from the incense once shipped through it. We borrowed it because that is what this is: an attempt to bottle the scent of a city that refuses to sit still.
Hong Kong is impossibly dense and impossibly green, a place where you can eat at a Michelin counter and a street stall in the same hour, then be alone on an empty beach by lunch. Most guides flatten it into a checklist. We wanted to keep its texture: the smoke and the neon, the wok hei and the tide.
Every place is chosen and written by an editor who has been there. No algorithms, no sponsored lists, no filler.
A three-star kitchen and a folding-table dai pai dong belong on the same page. So do a glass tower and a stilt village.
We open real doors and tell you plainly when something cannot be done. The concierge is a person, not a promise.
This is built by people who love Hong Kong. Everything else follows from that.
